Dog hair jackets | Ah! Tri Né!

The photographer Erwan Sheet conducted a project called Dogwool (wool dog?), which includes a series of photographs of people with their pet dogs.
So far no big deal. The detail is that these people were wearing coats made from the hair of their own dogs!

Seriously folks! There are people who turned this into a profession and raises good money knitting cardigans, sweaters, scarves, blankets and hats with fur from dogs and even cats.
Taking advantage of the pun, I see nothing "hairy" in that bid. Do not wear clothes made of wool? The wool is not the hair of the sheep? Well then.

The process of collecting material is used after brushing. The hairs are carefully preserved and obviously treated to reach the amount needed for weaving.
And should not take long to gather that much hair. I've had a collie, and each gathered a ball enoooorme brushed yarn.

Esther I saw an article about this in the Journal Anhanguera here in Goiás, long ago. A woman who does your hair wool poodle, those machines loom antigas.Tentei find the website of the globe but could not But I like the idea of the jacket.

It amazes me the person who wrote the post to find someone that is normal to wear a cardigan.

Inquire about speciesism and how any type of animal is treated in endeavors that are profitable was the least you could do.
