stuff The Story of Stuff

This week I discovered the video The Story of Stuff (is voiced), a work by Annie Leonard, an international expert with experience in environmental sustainability for over twenty years probing runs the world situations of factories and warehouses and promoting anti of pollution.

How well the name says, this documentary has been seen by more than 4 million people, shows clearly the story of the things that surround us quoting the connectivity between the global economy and the environment. That is, Annie explains step by step how it all happens from the extraction of raw materials to the binge itself, including showing, the impacts and consequences of this disastrous and alarming.

It's a documentary very informative and gives good rhythm in the pinpricks of U.S. consumption, which of course ends up influencing the world and putting us all in the same boat.

For more information, visit the official website of the project.

Actually the video is not just about "the American way of life," he shows the consequences of the acts of all of us, especially the middle class :)

I also enjoyed the video, I discovered a few months ago and already posted about:

The highlight of the film is that no matter what region of the world where the message is run slap-in-one works very well.

Really, really cool video.
What is an American reality for all of us.
It reminded me a lot Jorge Furtado's film, called "Island of Flowers".
It is easily on YouTube. It is worthwhile to TB.

Enough to give me this disgusting video. The speech comes to be interesting, but many of the things that she says would lead us to a deeper economic collapse. Oh shit that you would see would.
