Like most of my friends know I have some Apple products, as a White MacBook, an iPhone ... and an iPhone 3G. It turns out that over time, I had felt the need to exchange the unit for a more advanced. I needed a gadget faster with a better camera, etc.. Anyway, things geek.

At the end of last year, I made a decision to buy the new iPhone 4S. How not know anyone that would provide the pet outside, I decided to wait for the release in Brazil. To my astonishment, the Apple (as my sister says, Dani Koetz) decided in the face of Brazilian samba, charging prices totally absurd, even more than that practiced by the operators.

And now? What to do? After all, I wanted to give a gift at the end of the year, since 2011 has been quite complicated to me. But there was order to pay a price so salty.

Then Dani introduced me to his new baby: a Samsung Galaxy SII. The propaganda was so great that I could not resist: I decided to buy the phone to see if it all were right adjectives. And they were not!

The first thing that draws attention in the machine is its size, thanks to its 27.4-inch screen. The most impressive is that even with this size, the Galaxy SII is very light and does not attract attention if you often carry the phone in his pocket. It also comes with Android 2.3, a Dual Core 1.2 Ghz (applications open very quickly), a rear camera of 8 MP and a front of 2 MP. Actually, I am drooling for the quality of photos taken with the device.

Never had a fuçado Android. I thought the system would be complicated. But it is not. The interface is very friendly and there are excellent options for applications on Android Market.

The only caveat, is up to the battery. The Galaxy is still suffering the same malady of phones with touch screen: if you use the phone a lot, get used to charge the battery every day. Something that was already with the iPhone 3G. It's no good. If you want high performance battery, buy a QWERTY keyboard.

But even with this battery issue, I love the phone and recommend. Not that I have given up on the iPhone or something. I want to make clear: both are great phones. My purpose in this paper is to show that there are other options on the market. And you do not have to buy a particular brand. I keep using my good old 3GS and if the price of future iPhone 4S or 5 are more in line with our reality, I have no doubt I'll buy the unit.
